Pratyush

Pratyush Chandra is an activist, freelance journalist and researcher. His writings have appeared in Countercurrents, Counterpunch, INSN, Labour & Development, Liberation, MRZine, Review of Radical Political Economics, Socialist Register, ZNet among others. He has co-edited The Politics of Imperialism and Counterstrategies , Aakar Books, New Delhi (2004). He co-founded Radical Notes with Saswat Pattanayak. Saswat Pattanayak
is a media research scholar and blogger based in New York City. He has been a journalist with The SaswatEconomic Times, The Asian Age and Hindustan Times. He has co-authored Knock and the Rise: the politics of Orissa Cyclone, Insight, Puri (2000). Currently he manages the media blog Whosemedia and a personal-is-political blog . RaviRavi Kumar teaches Sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia University (New Delhi). He has been Jt. Editor of journal Social Change and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Journal of Critical Education Policy Studies (JCEPS). His writings have appeared in Economic and Political Weekly, Mainstream, JCEPS, Harvard Asia Pacific Review etc. Among his works are The Crisis of Elementary Education in India (ed., Sage, 2006) and The Politics of Imperialism and Counterstrategies  (co-ed., Aakar Books, New Delhi, 2004).
